FBI Agent Shot, Possibly by Another Agent, in New York Drug Raid

BUFFALO, N.Y. – An FBI agent was shot during a roundup of drug suspects at a house in Buffalo, authorities said.
Laurie Bennett, special agent in charge of Buffalo's FBI office, said the agent is in stable condition after being shot while executing a search warrant at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
Bennett did not identify the agent and did not comment on a report in The Buffalo News that another agent fired the shot. At a news conference, she declined to discuss details of the shooting and said an internal investigation involving FBI headquarters would take several weeks.
The agent was part of a group of law enforcement officers rounding up drug and money-laundering suspects. Thirty-one people were arrested.
Bennett said the shooting happened after a suspect was arrested at the house.
